Chile forward Alexis Sanchez is in a transfer limbo following news that Inter Milan have failed to agree on an extension to his loan spell.
The Mirror reports that the Chilean future is in doubt with the Italian side failing to agree terms with Manchester United regarding a new deal.
Sanchez has struggled with injuries and loss of form since moving form United in the summer to Italy.
Despite this, Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte is keen on the wideman and has informed the club to extend his current loan deal.
This could however be moot with United and Inter disagreeing over contract terms. United want Inter to commit to a higher percentage of his wages.
The Red Devil’s currently pay 60% of his wages and want the Italian outfit to up their offer.
This is the bone of contention and there are claims that the forward could be returning to Manchester this summer.
Sanchez wants to remain in Milan and it is not known if he would be willing to take a wage cut to facilitate a move in the off season.
