French side Olympique Lyon have opened talks for out of favour Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko. The former Monaco man is deemed surplus to requirements by Chelsea manager and there are speculations regarding his next destination.

Reports from France claim that Lyon are keen on the box to box midfielder and want to bring him to France.

Let 10 Sport reports that Lyon have approached Chelsea in the last 48 hours to register an interest and have inquired on a price for the midfielder.

The reports claims that Lyon are concerned about his current wage demands of €5 million yearly but are optimistic that this could be reduced to within their budget.

Bakayoko will be looking to end his nightmare stay at the London club and rejuvenate his career.

There are reports that Italian side AC Milan are interested in his services and could make a push for his signature. Chelsea want a decent fee for the talented midfielder.

Bakayoko on his day is capable of dominating the midfield and is excellent in transitioning defence to attack. It would be interesting to see how this news develops on the coming weeks.
