Brazilian great Rivaldo has advised Brazilian star Gabriel Jesus to remain at the Etihad stadium.
Jesus has struggled to displace Sergio Aguero as the number one forward at Manchester City.
This has led to speculations about his future with some tabloids suggesting that the forward is fed-up with his second fiddle position.
However Rivaldo believes that Jesus has the opportunity to establish himself as a key player for the Citizens in the coming weeks.
Aguero is currently out with a serious injury and could be unavailable for the Champions League billed in August.
Rivaldo speaking to Betfair believes that this could be the period Jesus could use to become an undisputed starter.
“Sergio Agüero’s season may be over because of an injury, so Gabriel Jesus will have a golden opportunity to establish himself as a starting player in this crucial part of the season. Therefore, he should focus and build his confidence by scoring goals and helping his team reach the set goals. He said.
Inter Milan are also said to be interested in the forward as a replacment for Barcelona target Lautaro Martinez.
