Manchester United could sell midfielder Andreas Perreira in the summer according to news from England. The midfielder has failed to build on his initial promise and it is understood that he would be sacrificed in the summer to raise funds to sign transfer target Donny Van de Beek.
According to the Mirror, Van de Beek is seen as a crucial signing for the Red Devils as they look to build a formidable team to compete for trophies next season. It is understood that United are also monitoring the progress of Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Kai Havertz as they compile their list of transfer targets for the summer.
The Reds are expected to face competition for the duo with the likes of Real Madrid and PSG interested in their services. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be a fan of both players and wants young, dynamic players for the club.
It is thought that a number of EPL clubs have contacted United for the services of Perreira and United are willing to sell for a decent fee.
There would be plenty of Premier League interest in Pereira with Newcastle, Everton and West Ham all looking at the midfielder before he signed his new deal at Old Trafford.
