Former Manchester United ace Nani has revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo will eventually play in the MLS. The Orlando City man told reporters that his former United teammate had told him years back that he planned to play in the MLS.

“A couple of years ago, he told me that he will probably end up in America,” Nani told ESPN. “It’s not 100 percent but probably. There is a chance.“

Nani also spoke about the atmosphere in the MLS and believes that the League is improving. It is a great league. “Obviously there are points where we must improve as a league, even in the quality of the players.

“Here you have fantastic clubs, well organised with fantastic conditions, great coaches, great players. You see every season improving.

Ronaldo has two years left on his contract with Juventus and there have been reports that the Portuguese superstar could move to China or the MLS.

Ronaldo is regarded as one of the best players in his generation and a move to America would be well received by his fans on the other side of the Atlantic.
