Manchester United are in a transfer race with Inter Milan for the signing of French midfielder Corentin Tolisso. The Daily Mail claims that United have begun talks with Tolisso’s representatives regarding a potential move.
Tolisso has endured a mixed stint at the German side since making the move to Bayern Munich from Lyon some seasons back. Despite his injuries, Tolisso is just 25 years and has the best years ahead of him.
United are said to be negotiating a cut-price deal with Bayern who value the midfielder for around £31m. Italian side Inter Milan have also expressed interest in the midfielder as they look to strengthen for a renewed title push next season.
Tolisso at his best is a silky midfielder capable of beating his opponents and threading accurate passes. His presence at United would be the ideal complement for Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes.
There are indications that United could make a concrete bid for the midfielder if they are priced out of a deal for Aston Villa skipper Jack Grealish.
