Lyon sporting director Juninho has hinted that the club will likely lose the duo of Moussa Dembele and Houssem Aouar in the summer.
Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked with a move for Dembele with reports of bids already submitted. While Aouar has attracted the interest of Manchester City and Juventus.
Juninho speaking to reporters during the unveiling of new signing Tino Kadewere admitted that Aouar could leave soon. “Houssem came through the academy here and he’s been here a long time. He brings a technical touch in the midfield, but we know that most young players trained at the club with the talent of Houssem will leave at one time or another.
The Lyon Legend also said that club president Jean-Michel Aulas would decide and extolled the virtues of Dembele.
“It’s president Jean-Michel Aulas who will decide. If we receive propositions, we’ll analyse them but he’s an important player.
“Moussa’s had a good season and still has a margin to progress. He’s a pure centre forward who brings us strength and presence in the box. He scores goals.
With these statements from Juninho, it is highly likely that we could see both stars plying their trade in the EPL next season.
