News from Italy claims that Italian giants Inter Milan are interested in the transfer of Manchester City defender Kyle Walker. According to the Sun the Italian club are preparing to continue their recent transfer spree with the former Tottenham defender top of the list.

Walker has been fairly inconsistent this season and the Italians are hopeful that the fullback would be willing to take up a new challenge. Walker is regarded as one of the best fullbacks in England and Manchester City still rely on his athleticism in defence.

Inter Milan are known to sign quality players at a decent prize and it is unknown if Manchester City would be willing to sell for an average transfer fee.

Antonio Conte has focused much of his recruitment efforts on the Premier League since taking over, bringing the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Christian Eriksen and Ashley Young to Inter during his tenure.

Signing Walker would be a huge coup for the Italian team as the Manchester City man has bundles of experience and would provide a better performance than their current options.
