Burnley boss Sean Dyche has agreed that young winger Dwight McNeil is likely to leave the club in the summer. The winger has been linked with Pep Guardiola recently and there are reports that a bid has been made.

Despite this, the manager is calm that the winger would be able to contribute in the remaining games of the season. Speaking to reports from England, Dyche revealed that he’s the expected speculations to swirl around the young midfielder.

“I don’t think we’ve ever planned to stay in anybody’s way, but equally we’re in a position the last few years to stand our ground in the market.

He also revealed that the club are likely to ascribe large transfer fees despite the Covid-19 pandemic.

“There was a time when people might have thought that if a player is doing well for us, you could nick him. That’s not the case now.”If people want to come for our players they will have to pay heavy prices.”

It would be interesting since Serie A has more than 10 months in the busy period.
