Manchester United are reportedly interested in Watford defender Pervis Estupinan. The Daily Express claims that United have indicated an interest in the defender on loan at Osasuna.
It is also reported that the Red Devils face stiff competition from Atletico Madrid and Tottenham for his signature. Estupinan arrived at Vicarage Road in July 2016 but has never made a senior appearance for the Premier League outfit.
The Ecuador international has spent his time on loan with Spanish sides Granada, Almeria, Mallorca and Osasuna. He has established himself as a key figure for the latter making 30 appearances in all competitions providing five assists from the fullback position.
His displays has led to attention regarding his future and United legend Antonio Valencia had endorsed a move to England for his fellow countryman in April.
It is not yet known how much Watford value the defender but club insiders indicate that he could be available for around £20 million. It would be a huge step for the defender to move from Osasuna to Old Trafford.
Manchester United are thought to be in the market for a fullback and have recently been linked with a move for Dortmund ace Hakimi.
