In this week’s Sports Grape Premier League Team of the Week, we look at some of the key performers from Gameweek 13. There were impressive players in all positions this week.

Wayne Hennessey

The Crystal Palace shot-stopper was in fine form. He made some smart saves as the Eagles kept a clean sheet at Old Trafford and took a point back to London.

Trent Alexander-Arnold

The young Liverpool right-back put in a decent display against Watford. He had both a solid defensive performance resulting in a clean sheet, whilst scoring Liverpool’s second with a delicious free kick.

Virgil Van Dijk

The Liverpool Centre back was also as ever-present in the Liverpool defence, putting in an experienced and solid display as usual.

Sead Kolasinac

The bulky Arsenal full-back was a presence all over the pitch against Bournemouth. He grabbed two assists as he put the ball in for Lerma’s fantastic own goal, before sliding the ball across the box for Aubameyang to get Arsenal’s winner.

Aaron Mooy

Huddersfield caused a mini-upset as they beat Wolves 0-2 at the Molineux and gained a vital three points for their season. Mooy was a force all afternoon for the visitors, scoring twice to seal the points for the Terriers.

Dele Alli

Alli was a key driving force for Spurs as they turned heads in the London Derby ending Chelsea’s unbeaten form. He scored the first, nodding in a free kick, before later providing the assist for Son.

Lucas Torreira

The young Uruguayan was brilliant once more, as he been so often for Arsenal this season. Another energetic and ferocious performance earned him the Man of the Match, as he continues to prove himself as such a bargain for Arsenal this season.

Leroy Sane

Unsurprisingly another dominant display from Man City as we are used to seeing week in, week out now, as they swept aside West Ham. Leroy Sane was the standout as he assisted Sterling, before scoring two himself.

Ryan Sessegnon

The young Englishman hasn’t had a standout season so far, but was brilliant as Fulham gained an important first win under Ranieri. The youngster assisted Schurrle to score Fulhams second, before also getting the assist to Mitrovic to score Fulham’s winner.

Heung-Min Son

Son was another star perfomer in Spurs’ great performance against Chelsea as he was a constant thorn in their side all game before scoring a spectacular solo goal as he dribbled half the length of the picture before slotting past Kepa to put the game out of reach for Chelsea.

Alexsandr Mitrovic

Mitrovic was brilliant and put in a classic ‘Strikers display’ as Fulham swept aside Southampton. He headed in the first and volleyed in the winner to earn his place in this week’s team of the week.
