Manchester United have turned down an offer from Barcelona for Paul Pogba.

The Spanish giants offered United £45 million plus Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes. The Red Devil’s say Pogba, the French international, is not for sale.

Jose Mourinho is reluctant to sell the midfielder following his excellent performances for World Cup winners, France, at the tournament in Russia.

United are hoping that Pogba can replicate his fine World Cup form at club level after an unconvincing campaign last year.

Mourinho remains hopeful that United could bring in some new faces themselves, before the transfer window closes on Thursday.

United have shown an interest in Bayern Munich centre back Jerome Boateng, however it has been reported that they are unwilling to pay the £60 million asking price for the German international.
